Why I built CV Bridger

Applying for jobs abroad is hard. Getting rejected for formatting is worse.

I learned that the hard way. From time to time, my friends would constantly disturb me, asking for help to convert and update their CVs for different countries. They had the right skills, but the cringe feeling of sending a local CV to a UK or Canadian employer and getting instantly rejected was real.

So I manually tweaked their CVs. I'd spend hours removing personal details, changing spellings, and fixing margins. I rewrote, adjusted, and reviewed.

It worked. Once the format matched what the international employer expected, the interview requests actually started coming in.

But then it clicked: I was spending all my time acting as a human formatting machine. I was manually mapping local structures to international standards over and over again. Why should anyone have to rely on a friend to do this manually?

I realized, why not just build a tool that helps them easily update their CV and convert it to another country they are applying to instantly?

So I built CV Bridger to do that for you, and at scale. It helps you take your existing CV and automatically restructure it to match the exact expectations of your target country. No manual editing. No guessing the rules.

It's the tool I wish I'd had back when I felt like the villain telling my friends their CVs were wrong — built to make applying internationally feel less like a formatting test and more like showcasing your true value.

If you can relate to the pain of sending applications that get ignored because of structural differences, I hope you find CV Bridger as useful as I do.
